Voxter is a North America-wide Unified Communications VOIP (Voice over IP) provider based in Vancouver, British Columbia with more than 100 clients serving 1000's of users. Its technical and solutions expertise dates to the earliest commercial VOIP applications as far back as 2004. The VOIP commercial market was highly challenged in those days by poor call quality issues due to limited bandwidth and disparate standards. Drawing on Voxter’s own technical resources, the company sourced and developed unique tools to deliver, manage and monitor call quality consistently.

The present Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Dayton Turner, one of the company's original founders,  has a legendary place in internet security history and IP transport systems and an early leader in solving industry call quality issues making Voxter’s architecture, infrastructure and systems unequaled in the marketplace.  Its current clients include major players in media, financial and technology services that depend on Voxter for communications, consulting and round the clock support.

The same talents that addressed and resolved call quality controls have now also been brought to bear on a new set of emerging standards known as Unified Communications (UC).  UC transcends VOIP, even as it piggy backs on it, to unite all the disparate elements of everyday communications (voice, fax, email, mobile, instant messaging, and video) into one simple-to-use software interface. Our Call Control Manager ™ is one of a number of new software applications to come out of this research and development.

As Unified Communications is as much as strategy as it is a set of technical elements, Voxter also boasts key executive talent with business consulting expertise to help clients put together the ideal communications platform. We are also platform friendly. Unified Communications, by definition, involves integrating several elements of software and hardware.
